Policies and Procedures
Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Blue Sands Inn. Below are hotel policies and procedures; read them carefully. As our hotel guests, by reading and signing your hotel registration card at check-in, you are agreeing to abide by our hotel policies and procedures.
A deposit of your first night's stay, including taxes, will be charged to your credit card 3 days prior to arrival.
Check-in
Check-in time is any time after 4 pm (not guaranteed due to high volume of occupancy). If you arrive earlier, the Front Desk staff will do their best to accommodate an early arrival. Guests will be required to present a valid Credit/Debit Card with a valid form of identification upon check-in. The hotel will place a hold of the full anticipated dollar amount of your stay and an estimated hold for incidentals on the card you provide. Blue Sands Inn will make every effort to honor special requests upon your arrival. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance. The hotel reserves all rights to refuse service to any guests of the hotel who do not follow or comply with hotel policies.
Check-out
Check-out is at 11 am. If you require a later check-out, please contact the Front Desk before 10 am on the day of departure, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. A charge may apply, depending on availability.
Cash Payment
A valid Credit/Debit Card is required to check-in. Full payment of all anticipated charges will be charged upon arrival. If you wish to pay by cash, you may do so at check-out.
Additional Person(s) Fees
All rates at the Blue Sands Inn are for double occupancy. There will be a $25.00 charge plus applicable taxes and fees per extra adult. Maximum occupancy rules apply.
Pet Policies
Pets are only allowed in our designated pet rooms downstairs. A $25.00 charge per night, per dog will be applied to your folio. An additional cleaning charge may be applied if necessary. Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the guest room (a fine of $250.00 will be applied to the bill if a pet is discovered left alone in the room or a non pet room). “Service animals” are allowed with proper documentation.
Cancellation Policy
All hotel room reservations have a 48-hour cancellation policy. All 3rd party reservations must be cancelled through the reserving agency.
Debit Cards
If you choose to use your debit card at check-in, the hotel will place a hold of the full anticipated dollar amount of your stay through your departure date, as well as an estimated hold for incidentals. Remaining funds due back to your debited account will be released upon check-out, which may take 4-15 business days to process. Additionally, your financial institution may have a contracted amount of time before the funds are released back to you, which can take up to 15 business days.
Smoking Policies
Smoking is prohibited in ALL the guests rooms (a $150 fine will be applied for smoking in the room upon check out.) Smoking is only permitted in designated area. We appreciate your cooperation regarding our smoking areas.
Quiet Time
To ensure all guests at the Blue Sands Inn get the quiet enjoyment of their stay, the hotel has a quiet time that is in effect from 10:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. We ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum and avoid all excessive commotion.
No In-Room Party Policy
Blue Sands Inn enforces a NO IN-ROOM PARTY POLICY to ensure we can protect the hotel and our guests at all times. In the event of a disturbance, one warning will be given to reduce noise. If this warning is not followed, the guest will forfeit all fees and must leave the hotel immediately.
